The Cremation Society of Alabama is not a funeral home, we are a coordination service to assist families with completing the necessary paperwork to protect your loved ones final wishes of cremation and at the time of need refer your loved ones to one of our cremation providers in the state of Alabama.
Members receive the following:
- Electronic Data Storage of the necessary forms to arrange a cremation including:
- Next of kin information of the member
- Vital statistics form for the death certificate
- Authorizing Affidavit from the member to protect their final wishes
- A discount on cremation at the time of need from one of our cremation providers
If you were to contact an attorney or estate planner for the same services your cost would range between $250-$750. As a member of the Cremation Society of Alabama and upon payment of the one-time fee of $99 for one person, $125 for a couple or $159 for a family up to four members, A Licensed Funeral Director will draft and make certain that all of your paperwork is in place and complies with the Funeral Service Law. By doing this, you can rest assured that your intentions will be followed according to your wishes.

You can always choose a funeral home in your immediate area to provide the service when needed. However, we cannot guaranty that your local funeral will extend a discount for services that will match the discount that you receive from one of our providers.
IF you choose to use a funeral home in your immediate area, your completed plan will be forwarded to the funeral home of your choice where your wishes will be followed completely.
